Trigono

The Museum is located in the area "trigono", at the Arachthos riverside, near the historic bridge of Arta. It is designed by architects Stathis Boubiotis and Christos Floros (1998 - 1999). The construction was completed in 2006 and opened to the public at the end of 2009. The permanent exhibition refers primarily to the ancient city of Ambracia, which lays buried beneath the city of Arta. It includes three main sections: the public life, the cemeteries, and the private life of Ambraciotes.
