The topic is moving towards the next step: a conference titled „Non-agricultural Geographical Indications (GIs): enhancing and protecting EU know-how“ will be held in the European Parliament in Brussels on October 1st, 2015 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Member of the Parliament Virginie Rozière will bring together experts from all over Europe to create a strong movement before the topic will be voted by the Parliament and this vote will be presented to the European Commission.
Initiators of the conference are also parliament members Ms Soledad Cabezón and Mr Nicola Danti together with Junta de Andalucía and the global alliance of Geographical Indications groups (oriGIn).
